Deep House during Carnaval

I really love Carnaval in Rio, but after days of ensaios in samba schools, blocos, parades and last night in famous Terreirão...
I need some deep vocal house. If you feel the same enjoy this music of mine: here comes an alusion to poor samba school Rocinha suffering from the rain on Sunday evening during its desfile in Sambódromo. 1. Power is nothing without control

That is the Pirelli slogan. And we all know about the artistic power of top fotographers controlling with their camera the beauty of top models in the calendar, published by the company for more than 40 years. Being given away only - not sold - to a selected number of business partners. Now Pirelli created a new project together with advertising agency Leo Burnett: "The Call" Short film or new ad, exclusively shown on the internet in March. It will be the centerpiece of Pirelli's marketing for several years; and advertising in other media, including print and television, will be built around the Internet film. Pirelli said "The Call" and its associated advertising would account for 60 percent of the company's marketing budget -- a Hollywood-style gamble on one production.

Podbop

Just spotted on Soulcreation, Claudio´s blog, something new and great: Podbop, a very nice new service for music lovers. They mashup events from eventful.com and link it to MP3's band sites and labels. This way they make it easy to listen to a band's music before you go and check them out live in a venue near you.
We need that in Brazil as well, venues we got so much!

is really one of my favourites, made Reveillon 2004/2005 in Fishbone/Buzios really special. He was the highlight after Peter Kruder. Heiko´s finest teck house just when the sun rose...

When it comes to the theories of Macroeconomics I would classify myself as Chiacgo Girl, not too much friend of J.M. Keynes. But of course, in a country like Brazil governmental intervention is far more justified to a certain extent, more than in Europe.
Legitimate chicago boy and Brazilian Minister of Treasury, Joaquim Levy, had recently expressed that nicely in an interview with Carta Capital: 180 million Brazilians and some ministers, worried about the increasing valorization of the Real, do not seem to realise that this risk (of a stronger Real) can be reduced by spending less: Dar um choquezinho negativo no gasto público. Isto é Keynes, Marcroeconomia, Regra número 1. YES!

One billion downloads

Apple Computer’s iTunes Music Store has passed the 1 billion-download mark, less than three years after it launched and just days before a planned press event where the company will unveil new consumer products.
Wonder whether iTunes ever comes to Brazil. They do not sell to Brazil and Brazilian credit card holders cannot shop on the American site.
