I must confess today that I was a very spoiled child in terms of growing up amongst richest media at home. Newspapers and magazines my parents subscribed to and thousands of precious books in my surroundings. I was literally "devouring" Schoener Wohnen, Haeuser, Decoration, Vogue Decoration and later Living at Home... everything about Architecture and Interior Design when we were renovating our own house and me at the same time dreaming of my own "Waterfalls" one day (thanks to Art History Class in the US and the Bible of "Janson"). And everytime I spotted an impressive house when travelling I was wondering: what does the interior like behind that fassade? How do people live and how is their home decorated?
Those thoughts spin around my mind especially here in Brazil when walking down the streets or going on a boat tour in Angra. If you feel the same, go and buy the latest copy of CASA VOGUE Brasil. Besides a good overview of Brazilian architects and interior designers, I bet you will start dreaming as well. And I swear, had a really hard time selecting a pic for this post, instead of showing my favourite, I give you the cover of the magazine so you easily find it.
