I was born in Germany where I also spent my childhood and went to school and university. In between I went to the US for an exchange school year and spent another one in Barcelona for an internship. Later during university came Montreal and Brazil.

I worked several years for the big media company Bertelsmann in various divisions: Pixelpark Multimedia, at G+J Publishing house and multimedia subsidiaries, the strategic unit Bertelsmann Corporate Network, in the music - BMG.
In 2002 I decided to start a new chapter in my life: living and working in Rio/Brazil. Blame it on two books, one from Stephen Kanitz and the other one from Stefan Zweig.
I founded my own company with another business partner and one day will write a book about my experiences, for now I report some things on this blog.
Being an entrepreneur in Brazil is challeging in many ways, but it is the belief in this emerging market and the objective to get the best out of the two worlds (Europe and Brazil), for working and living.
My passions I converted into profession: Music, Media, Mobile, Marketing. My interests and other business areas: Trading and Consulting. Hobbies: Literature, Arts, Architecture, Sailing, Dancing.
